BC Day at the Museum

Monday, August 7th - 10 am to 6 pm. Stop into the Museum on BC Day to cool down inside or explore our outdoor displays with a scavenger hunt! We're open by donation all day, with a variety of crafts, guided outdoor tours of the Upper Level at 11 am and 3 pm, and special displays - including our "ArtiFACT or ArtiFACTION" guessing game - to learn more about Rossland's history.

2022 Outdoor Artisan Market - Sept 24-25

Join us on September 24 & 25 as we kick off the national Culture Days celebrations with our annual Outdoor Artisan Market! From 12 to 4 pm all weekend. Wander about the museum property to check out Kootenay artisans and vendors and celebrate the beauty and creativity fostered in this region. This is a licensed event thanks to the Flying Steamshovel, and we'll have live music supported by the Rossland Art Centre Society, so it's going to be a fun weekend! Admission is free, but donations are always appreciated! This event is supported in part by Columbia Power and the Columbia Basin Trust.
