Holiday Hours
We’re open through the holidays!
Regular hours: Tuesdays to Sundays, 10 am - 6 pm
December 24-26: Closed
December 31-January 1: Closed
Santa’s Workshop at the Museum
Drop by the Museum between 12 and 4 pm on Saturday, December 23rd to help out Santa's elves for the day! We'll be making toys, crafting Christmas decorations, and enjoying some festive games, yummy treats, and holiday films. We’ll also pull out our toboggans and our kid-sized snowshoes for some wintery fun! Entry by donation.
Gifting Spirits Bright
We have a new outreach exhibit up at the Rossland Public Library! Gifting Spirits Bright explores holiday gift-giving and features some of our favourite toys from the Museum’s collection. You can find the exhibit in the children's section of the Rossland Library throughout December.
The Library is open 10 am to 6 pm Tuesday-Thursday and 10 am to 4 pm Friday-Saturday.
The Museum Shop is brimming with unique treasures that make for perfect seasonal surprises - drop by any time during regular museum hours, 10 am to 6 pm Tuesdays to Sundays. 🎄
Help us Decorate Our Tree!
We're excited to be gearing up for the holidays, and we've got the decorations to prove it! But we're looking for your help: we've got one tree still waiting to be decorated.
Stop by the Museum to make a donation, and you can hang an ornament on our tree! We are so grateful for any donations - they allow us to carry on the research, programming, and community-building work we love!
