Rossland Refactory Shred Party

The Kootenay Outdoor and Environmental Learning Society and Rossland Museum are hosting an event to raise awareness and funds to support the Rossland Refactory!

The Rossland Refactory will be the first community-based recycling facility in British Columbia, and maybe even North America.
This outdoor event will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 10am to 2pm on the lawn of the Museum.
A short presentation about the proposed Rossland Refactory facility will be held every hour on the hour (11am, 12pm, 1pm).
Bring your clean plastic that is stamped with a 1 or a 2 to the event, but please remove any labels (a hair dryer or heat gun work great for this).
Masks are required, and there will be prizes for the best masks that reflect a recycling theme!

Come out and support this important initiative and watch the shredder in action. A $5 donation for the Rossland Refactory would be appreciated when you drop off your plastic.
