November Speaker Series and AGM - November 29th

My history teacher always told me that if we don’t study the past, we will never be able to understand the future. From a legacy perspective, we tell our stories for ourselves and as a gift to future generations.

Stories connect the past and present to the future. They can awaken future generations to their potential and they honour and give thanks to the people who helped create the communities we enjoy today.

On November 29th, at 5:30PM, the museum is hosting it’s AGM. At 6:30, we will also be hosting the November Speaker Series event in partnership with the Trail Museum & Archives. Rossland native, Vince Profili will be sharing his family stories about growing up in a mining town. He will walk us through photographs and his memories during this special event. Beverages and snacks will be available, entry is by donation, and we hope to see everyone there.

You can RSVP to this event here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/november-speaker-series-and-agm-tickets-52122818754

We would also like to invite you to tell us your stories, so that we can pass them on to future generations. If you have a story or photographs about Rossland that you would like to share, email us at info@rosslandmuseum.ca Your story may even end up on our website and appear on our Facebook page.
