When we are out enjoying the winter and skiing the slopes, we should always be prepared. Whether you are skiing in the backcountry OR at a ski resort, there are plenty of risks and safety measures to take into consideration.

Join Murray Watt, a Rossland Search & Rescue Volunteer and Adventure Smart representative, on Saturday, January 30th for a morning workshop with hands-on learning of skiing safe while at the ski resort.

Murray has created an educational program for youth that he had originally presented at Whistler Blackcombe for many years. This new program is specifically tailored to the youth in our community and with local content and examples. Ski safe this winter season! This event is outdoors and by donation with proceeds split between the Rossland Search & Rescue and the Rossland Museum.
