The Museum is looking for a Bookkeeper!
Are you looking for a small bookkeeping contract?
The Rossland Historical Museum & Archives Association is a registered charity with CRA and A non-profit BC Society.
We Maintain Our Books and Payroll with Quickbooks and conduct an annual review process with our accounting firm.
Our fiscal year is October-September.
We are expecting approximately 10 hours per month to assist with:
Monthly:
- Remit payroll source deductions 
- Enter all revenue from various sources, including earned revenue (admission, events, & gift shop) 
- Reconcile credit card 
- Reconcile main operating, BC Gaming, and Renewal Project bank accounts 
- Remit PST payments 
Quarterly:
- Remit GST payments 
- Prepare quarterly report to Finance Committee 
Annually:
- Assist during the annual review process with required documents (October-November) 
- Assist with annual budgeting process 
- Complete annual review's resulting journal entries 
WORK LOCATION:
- Remote work
