Easter Egg Hunt in August?!

We've just got word that the Easter Bunny is making a very special trip to Rossland to make up for having to miss our egg hunt this past April! So we're celebrating on BC Day - Monday, August 3rd - with a Summertime Easter Egg Hunt and fun crafts throughout the day!

Egg Drop Challenge

Egg Drop Challenge

Between 11am and 3:30pm - Easter Engineering Activities! Come try out the annual Egg Drop Challenge.
We'll also still be celebrating BC Day with some fun BC-themed crafts.

Chase the real deal Easter Bunny over the museum grounds and find your way to treats, crafts, and activities. If you happen to find the Golden Egg, your name goes in a raffle to win one of two special Golden Egg prizes!
Doors open at 11 am with activities and crafts and the timed egg hunts will be between 12 and 3pm.

EGG HUNT PRE-REGISTRATION:

In order to ensure physical distancing is followed, the egg hunts will be in strictly managed time slots and kids must be pre-registered with a maximum of 20 kids per time slot.
To register, select from the group times and contact us via email (info@rosslandmuseum.ca), on Facebook, or by phone (250-362-7722) with your name, the names and ages of your kids (for age split if necessary), and your first and second choice of time slot. We'll accommodate everyone's first choice as much as possible.
There is no cost to the event at all, so there is no reservation fee either - we would appreciate the heads up if you need to cancel your registration for any reason as early as possible so we can allow someone else to fill that spot.

Egg Hunt Time Slots**:

  • Group 1 starts at 12pm

  • Group 2 starts at 12:30pm

  • Group 3 starts at 1pm

  • Group 4 starts at 1:30pm

Each group will have a special golden egg hidden - find the golden egg to enter the Golden Prize Pack raffle with fun stuff from our local businesses.
**Please bring your own basket or bag, and we will have an egg drop off station set up, so the kids can just drop their finds in exchange for their treat bag from our staff.

Golden Egg Prizes were generously donated by our local businesses.
