New Outreach Exhibits
We’ve been busy the last couple of weeks, getting four new outreach exhibits out into downtown Rossland!
Hops and History
The Prestige Mountain Resort is now hosting a revamped version of our Hops & History exhibit, which explores the history of Rossland’s breweries. From the breweries of the 1890s to the Rossland Beer Company, Rossland's brewing history is a heady mix of trials, success, community, and a delicious legacy.
A Day in the Life
The Rossland Public Library is hosting A Day in the Life, which explores the lives and objects of some of Rossland's historic personalities. The person and objects will change every few weeks, so make sure to check back every once in a while to learn about a day in the life of a different Rosslander.
Rossland’s Historic Summer Look Book
Curiosity Clothing & Gifts has once again let us take over their window for Golden City Days. This year they're hosting Rossland's Historic Summer Look Book, which explores some summer fashions of Rossland's past. Featuring textiles and photographs from the Museum's collection, the exhibit will be up until September 12.
Making a Splash: the Construction of the Rossland Swimming Pool
Out of the Cellar is hosting an exhibit that tells the story of the Rossland Swimming Pool! Stop by for more snippets and stories of the Rossland Swimming Pool!
Thanks to all our community partners — we love using your space to tell Rossland’s stories!
