Drop Off Your Household Batteries at the Museum! The Rossland Museum is joining the Rossland Public Library as a newly designated household battery recycling drop-off spot in partnership with Call2Recycle.

Join guest artist Sarah Parrell for a special Pro D Day workshop to create your very own custom DIY Coin Snatching Bank! Armed with cardboard, creativity, and a bit of glue gun magic, kids will build their own custom, crank-activated banks to stash coins and tiny treasures. This workshop is available to youth ages 7+ and spots are limited, so don't wait to reserve your spot!

Back by popular demand, Rebecca Fux is leading another art workshop you won't want to miss! Taking inspiration from our temporary exhibit BC's Marvelous Mushrooms, Rebecca will lead a guided instruction on scientific illustrations! Her primary goal remains the encouragement of creative expression and fun. All skill levels are welcome and supplies (and refreshments!) will be provided.

More than 100 families were displaced and millions of dollars were spent on flood infrastructure — yet floods continue to threaten the region. So what’s going on?
