On June 12th, 2026, Grade 3 and 4 students gathered at Glenmerry Elementary School for the first annual South Columbia Regional Heritage Fair. A handful of projects were selected for display in our entrance gallery at the Rossland Museum. The marathon feat was a culmination of a dream — and years of training. Winter Carnival Exhibit at Curiosity Clothing!

Have you heard about Rossland’s masquerades on ice? These large costume contests often took place at the beginning of the Winter Carnival and could draw crowds to rival those of the sporting events. Our new exhibit "Expression in Disguise: The Rossland Winter Carnival Masquerade on Ice" explores the early masquerades and the freedom Rosslanders had to explore who they were - if only for an evening - through costume, performance, and play. "Expression in Disguise" is on display at Curiosity Clothing and Gifts until January 30th!
