2023 Winter Carnival Activities at the Museum

It's that time of year!

It's time for another Rossland Winter Carnival, and we're celebrating with outdoor, family-friendly activities all weekend!

Drop by the museum 10 am - 5 pm Saturday and Sunday to get lost in our snow maze, enter our annual snowman-building competition, try our toboggan run, sip a hot drink, savour some maple taffy, and soak up the warmth of our campfire!

Entrance by donation all weekend.

 

Saturday, January 28th:
Snow maze, campfire, tobogganing, snow painting, hot chocolate & hot apple cider available all day!

Snowshoe tours around Museum property (children’s snowshoes provided) 10:30-2 pm
Snowman-building Contest: build all day, winners announced Sunday at 4 pm
Maple Taffy at 12:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm

Sunday, January 29th:
Snow maze, campfire, tobogganing, snow painting, hot chocolate & hot apple cider available all day!
Snowman-building Contest: build all day, winners announced at 4 pm
Maple Taffy at 12:30 and 2:30 pm
