This presentation will share the story behind the newsletters and headlines, and highlight the people from across our community who contributed, the organizations across North America that lent a hand, the work done around kitchen tables and the documents drafted late at night, the emotional weight of a long public fight, and the legal case that is now before the courts. Hear directly from the front line on why this matters and what may lie ahead.

Part local story, part explainer, and part roadmap for a long fight ahead, this talk is for anyone who wants to better understand where things stand, how the community got here, and why Record Ridge continues to matter. About Save Record Ridge Action Committee

The Save Record Ridge Action Committee (SRRAC) is a public interest non-governmental organization (NGO) of residents, professionals and business owners in Rossland and the surrounding communities impacted by the proposed open-pit mine on Record Ridge. Formed as a voluntary association in May 2023 and incorporated as a registered society in British Columbia in January 2024, SRRAC aims to protect the ecological integrity and other values of Record Ridge and its vicinity through grassroots advocacy, public education and outreach, partnerships with community and environmental organizations, Indigenous groups, and public agencies, and legal action. All activities are carried out without profit for its members, with any earnings used solely to promote its objectives.
