Rossland Memories

The Rossland Memories Project is our ongoing oral history interview project that seeks to collect, store, and share memories of longtime Rosslanders for future generations.

This is an ongoing project! Please let us know if you have ideas of people whose stories we should capture. If you have an oldtimer in your life with stories to tell, consider signing up to be an interviewer — we can provide training and equipment to help you conduct the oral history interview! There are also volunteer opportunities to help organize, transcribe, and publicize the memories.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact our Research Department at archives@rosslandmuseum.ca.

Some of the interviews we’ve conducted are already up online! Check them out below or peruse our Rossland Memories YouTube playlist!
