Museum Staff have taken up the challenge to find a book in our research room, gift shop, or library to meet the Rossland Public Library’s 2019 Reading Suggestions!
Enjoy the spoils of the season at BOO at the Mu! The museum will become a Halloween spookfest, filled with spooky treats and prizes, creepy crafts, ghoulish kids' activities, frightful face painting, and more! Show us your best costume to be entered into the BEST DRESSED contest and win a Museum prize pack, including a membership for the whole family!
From Success to Less: Lessons learned as a Volunteer Veterinarian.
What inspires a person to throw caution to the wind and change their life? In 2017, Elaine and her husband made the nerve wracking decision to walk away from a successful small business to live out of a backpack while working as volunteer veterinarians. Listen as Elaine takes you into the world of veterinary volunteerism and shares her journey about following your heart and embracing the unknown!
#CultureDays is a national celebration of our incredible arts and culture across the country - this year's theme is: Creativity, the Arts, and Well-being! Participatory arts and culture events are popping up all over Canada and BC, and we've gathered a bunch of exciting free or low-cost events by our local orgs and businesses here in Rossland!
Culture Days is Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th, though we've snuck a few cultural events in for Thursday too because Rossland is a busy place!!
