Time for another Rossland Winter Carnival! Come by the museum anytime between 10 am and 5 pm Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th for our world-famous snow maze, campfire, snow painting, annual snowman-building contest, sledding, hot chocolate, maple taffy, and more!

What a trip! Thursday, January 29th at 6 pm, join us at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre as Author-Adventurer Dan Grec takes us on a journey with the tale of his cross-hemisphere adventure.

Last July, we sat down for a chat with Red Mountain Racers Brian Fry, Chris McIver, Don Stevens, Derek Trussler, and coach Grant Rutherglen. The result was a warm, funny, sometimes poignant account of their years growing up and racing together — here at Red Mountain, with the BC Ski Team, and on the Canadian National Ski Team. The interview is now available on our YouTube channel — and thanks to the incredible photo donations from Grant and Brian, there are fantastic visuals to accompany the audio for this one.
