ROSSLAND, BC – Test your historical knowledge at the REDroom Lounge courtesy of the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre!

The Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre invites everyone to test out your historical knowledge and enjoy a fun-filled evening of trivia at the REDroom Lounge in the Prestige Mountain Resort in downtown Rossland.  Every Wednesday evening, beginning January 28th, the Rossland Museum will be hosting a Trivia Show – Do you know which Canadian Prime Minister lived in Rossland??  How’s your knowledge of the various Gold Rushes in BC?  If you are a history buff, enjoy game shows, and want to spend a fun evening in a great place, come on down to the REDroom Lounge and try your hand at some history trivia!

A few questions will also be posted prior to the game nights on the museum’s various social media channels – website, Facebook, and Twitter – for a chance at extra prizes!  Players will ultimately have the advantage if they are following us there! To register for a trivia night – either make a reservation for 6pm in the Lounge and request a “game button” or show up at 7pm when any remaining buttons will be made available.  There will be a maximum of ten teams (of up to four people), so make sure you register early!!  The fun begins at 7:30pm sharp, and did we mention there will be prizes?!

For your upper-hand, find the Museum at, @RosslandMuseum on Twitter, or “Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre” on Facebook.

The first evening will be a general history teaser night! Following that, other themes will include Rossland’s Skiing history, Mining & Industry, and a special night on the “seedy underbelly” of Rossland’s history.  The Museum is thrilled to be partnering with the REDroom Lounge for these fun-filled events (there will be six weekly Trivia Shows!) and hope to partner with other local businesses and organizations as we bring our history to life!
